About Us
The Allentown Area Swing Dance Society is a nonprofit group that exists to promote swing dancing in the Greater Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton Area.
We welcome all dancers, no matter what level or experience, and place a special emphasis on helping beginners learn to enjoy dancing. We offer the best instructors, both locally and nationally, on the Lehigh Valley's largest and finest dance floor. We focus our instruction on East Coast Swing, West Coast swing and Lindy but we also offer instruction in Hustle, Night Club Two Step, Cha Cha, Salsa, Bachata, Waltz and Country Two Step.
Founded by Dana Brones, John Thoder and Cheryl Phillips, we incorporated in the Spring of 1998. We have a Board of Directors who meet monthly to plan dances and events.
